The Learning Journeys are place-based experiences designed to help people learn directly from the land.
These journeys begin at Childs Creek Farm — a family farm transformed into conservation lands and arts-and-ecology gardens. The site tells a story of ecological restoration, cultural change, and long-term stewardship.
Participants are invited to observe change over time: restored habitats, biodiversity in action, and the return of salmon to Childs Creek. Learning happens through walking, observing, sensing, and shared reflection rather than formal instruction.
These journeys connect regeneration on the land with everyday choices and ways of living rooted in care for place.
